ChildrenSong Membership Agreement

The ChildrenSong Membership Agreement, summarized below, must be accepted by all chorus families at the time of registration.

1. We have read the choir handbook and agree to abide by all ChildrenSong policies. More information about ChildrenSong policies is available in the Parents Area on our website.
2. We understand that our Tuition payment includes the following: ChildrenSong polo shirt, vocal music instruction, and use of music and folio. If music and/or folio are lost, a replacement fee of $10 for the music and/or $10 for the folio must be paid in order to receive replacements.
3. We understand that Tuition is non-refundable after September 30th.
4. We understand that Concert Choir singers are responsible for DRY CLEANING of vests before the major winter and spring concerts. The Choir will provide a final cleaning of vests after the Spring Concert or Concert Choir Tour.
5. We understand that the replacement fee for polo shirt is $17 if child outgrows issued shirt or it gets lost.
6. We understand the importance for my child(ren) to attend all mandatory rehearsals and performances to ensure the success of the organization as outlined in the calendar: Major Winter/Spring Concerts, Recording Sessions, Fundraising Concert, and Songfest.
7. We fully understand the strong commitment to ChildrenSong and the need to commit to at least the first full semester, for which we are registering. After that, we must notify Mrs. Murray before the end of the semester if we wish to discontinue membership, so the space can be offered to a new chorister for the following semester.
8. We understand that behavioral problems will not be tolerated. A warning will be given to the chorister for the first offense. Parents will be contacted on the second offense. If the behavior is not improved after a consultation between the Director and the parents, dismissal from the Chorus will result.
9. We grant ChildrenSong of New Jersey, Inc., permission to record the image, likeness, and voice of my child(ren) via film, video, and audio recordings. I understand that these recordings will be used for publicity of ChildrenSong of New Jersey, Inc. Further, I grant permission for those recordings to be made and used without compensation.
